Annual NYB Holiday Party

Hey everyone, This is a bit ahead of time but I wanted to post our annual holiday party! It is going to be a fun fun party as always. This year we will host in LIC at the new Spicy Moon location. We have been hosting it at their Bowery but this is a good change of venue. As always come dress in your best outfits! Spicy Moon has great cocktails and amazing food. We will hang out by the bar area but you are welcome to get a table. The restaurant closes at 10 at which time we will probably go to the rooftop bar upstairs or walk to another bar in the are to keep partying that night. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

This week we present our Jazz Age Murder Mystery where in a swanky NYC nightclub during prohibition, a grisly murder takes place and everyone is a suspect! No expertise is necessary–just your love of having fun! Backstory The guests are a mixed group of club staff members, entertainers, and guests at a private party held at a jazz club in 1920s New York City. It is the height of the Jazz Age, and social revolution is afoot. This is the age of Prohibition—and of bootleggers and gangsters. Club owner Felix Fontano, the son of a successful bootlegger and crime boss—and a successful businessman himself—is throwing this private party for a group of select friends. It is a night of revelry like many other nights of revelry enjoyed by this group of sophisticates, artists, and hoodlums . . . until things go horribly wrong. **Cost:** $30 general members / $20 VIP members **Recommended ages:** 21+. **Can I come alone?** Yes, most guests do! Queens Fiber Arts Festival [IN PERSON] Bring Fall Cosplay & Yarn crafters. FREE!

The Annual **Queens Fiber Arts Festival** on Nov 7th at the Kings Manor House at Rufus King Park in Jamaica, Queens. This is a great free outdoor event bring all the fiber friends together. Bring all your fall cosplay since to join in the Fall Festival also happening at the Kings Manor House. There will be knit and crochet classes, crafting circle, yarn giveaways, vendors, and a pumpkin patch.
