**Event:** **••••Back to Wednesday****** **Amazing 4.5 mile walk from Marina Del Rey, Jetty at sunset, paved path beach walk; optional after walk potluck on the marina.** **Meet st the free Dock 52 parking lot,, Rick will have on a safety vest 🦺** **The 4.5 mile walk is on level trails. Can get cold so dress appropriately. Bring tennis shoes, water, sun screen, sun protection, and a fun spirit. Up and back so option to turn back early.** **I encourage every one to stay after the walk to eat, drink or just hang out at the after walk potluck. The potluck is in the same dock 52 parking lot where we meet. I will bring tables, lights, paper plates, plastic utensils, and tunes to jam. We have someone holding a firepit from the early AM until we arrive in the afternoon. We're bringing a volleyball net, but we also need a foldable table and 1-2 canopies or sunshades. Please message the organizer if you can help with this. **What to bring:** Each person must contribute something. You can bring drinks, food, snacks, or **two** fire logs (must be food safe). Coordinate with the rest so we don't get too much of one thing. **Parking**: To find us, we will drop the coordinates in the comments section and in Discord. It says online that parking is around $10. Parking may be challenging, so try to carpool (join Discord for this) **Community Rules:** If you disagree with these guidelines, this group is not a good fit for you. Join us for a habitat restoration event! It’s a great opportunity to learn about native plants and local wildlife, all while spending some time outdoors in beautiful Baldwin Hills Parklands. This event is in partnership with California State Parks Foundation. Spaces are limited, so if you are interested in participating, **please RSVP to the coordinator at least 24hours in advance of the event: amendiaperez@naturenexusinstitute.org** Important things to know about this event: * Volunteers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Habitat restoration tasks are best suited for people who are 12 years of age or older. * Please wear long pants and covered shoes. * Please bring plenty of drinking water for yourself as well as ample sun protection. * Work sites are frequently off trail and may be on uneven terrain. * We typically meet up at the top parking lot adjacent to the visitor center to start the event, but we work in several sites throughout the park. If you arrive late you may have trouble finding us. Please be sure to RSVP via the email above so we know to expect you!

We meet every Friday morning at 9:00 a.m., in Manhattan Beach at the 4th Street courts. This group is open to INTERMEDIATE AND UP LEVEL players. This group is NOT for beginners. First time players are asked to show up and play before they ask to join the group via the Meetup app. For members, players are asked to bring their own volleyballs & lines, if you have them. Please RSVP as early in the week as possible so that we know that we have at least four players.
