Welcome to Respawn’s TCG Tournament edition Event! 🛡️ Respawn is going to be doing a monthly Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournament. Goat Format is a highly popular, community-driven legacy format in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game that freezes the game in the summer of 2005, specifically utilizing the rules, card pool, and April 2005 Forbidden and Limited list. The format serves as a time capsule for the end of the classic Duel Monsters era and the dawn of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. The cutoff point is traditionally fixed just before the August 2005 release of the Cybernetic Revolution expansion, meaning modern foundational cards like Cyber Dragon do not exist. September Big Poker Night

This is a chance to meet some peeps, hang out, chat, eat some snacks and maybe play some poker. Don't worry if you don't know how to play. We are happy to teach you. Let's play board games together, meet new friends if you want, and also supporting local restaurant buying their food and drink, coz the event is free. We’re back in 2026! Come play games with us! This venue is definitely biased towards "euro" style games but any and all games are welcome. Members will bring games that they like. Anything that is fun to play and share is welcome! Don't have a game, don't worry. We've got a decent selection, but you're always welcome to bring a game if you would like. Never played a board game before or it's been 20 years? No problem, we'd be happy to show you how to play. We love beginners, because we were all beginners at one point. Life is full of stress, let Monday nights be a fun night. Games After Dark - Neighbourhood Edition

Join us for an evening of games at Watsonia Neighbourhood House. Every **Second Friday** we bring a selection of games from the club’s ever growing library as well as choice games from our own personal collections. Feel free to bring your own! \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- Where do we play? We play in the Eucalypt Room at Watsonia Neighbourhood House. What do we play? There will be a range of games available, from beginner to more experienced. We play modern board and card games that are fun and relatively easy to learn. We are more than happy for new people of all experience levels to come and we are always eager to teach. How about Food and Drinks? Enjoy some tea on the house. Or bring in your own meal or grab one from one of the fine local places in the neighbourhood.

6pm start. $2 gold coin entry per person. Please order dinner at the bar when you arrive and let the staff know you are with the card group in the Dining Room. Meals are served around 7:15pm. Happy Hour drinks are available until 7pm. After a dinner break we shuffle the teams around so you get to meet, and play with new people. Games are played as 4 handed wherever possible, but an occasional 3,5 or 6 handed game is required based on the number of attendees. If you are a beginner or have minimal experience playing 500, please let your host know before starting a game, and feel free to ask them any question. Ahead of the event you might like to download one of the 500 card game apps on your phone to get familiar with the game. There are also some Youtube videos.
