[FIVARS - Festival of International Virtual & Augmented Reality Stories](https://fivars.net) 2026 is shaping up to be one of the best in its 12-year history. Location-based festival in Toronto runs June 15-19th. This is an incredibly rare opportunity to see Canadian, North American, and World premieres of the best new #immersive content from all over the planet - Canada, China, Argentina, Italy, Denmark, USA, Netherlands, Finland, Iceland, Germany, Portugal, Ireland, Taiwan, Japan, Brazil, and more, all under one roof. Online theater for passive works and live, remote VR performances continues for an additional 2 weeks. Please note: FIVARS will be live in Toronto for only 5 days. Tickets are for 1 x 2-hour block at a specific time and date. More than half of the catalog can only be seen in person, which includes all the interactive pieces. All tickets include access to the online theater, which features all dome and spherical video content and runs for 14 days following the LBE show. All tickets will have access to any live remote VR performances or WebXR pieces. They will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. All purchased FIVARS tickets will receive a rebate discount for VRTO conference passes, which run the following week, June 24-26th. This group is for badminton enthusiasts who are passionate about exploring the connections between metabolism, energy, and exercise. We are welcome beginner plus, intermediate and advance level players looking to improve your skill or a seasoned player seeking to optimize your performance on the court, this group is for you! Join us for friendly games. This badminton session is a weekly event and it is followed with dinner together but it is optional. ATTENTION: Due to many first timers signed up the event but no show, I have no choice to charge the first timers $10 per person as deposit via etransfer to me no later then Friday night. There is no refund for no show. If you show up, then I will etransfer the balance back to you at the end of the badminton event. E-Transfer (EMT) or debit card payments are accepted (plus applicable taxes). Time: Sundays, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Location: 1370 Birchmount Rd, Unit #6 (Closest intersection: Birchmount Rd & Lawrence Ave) Requirements: Racquets: Bring your own racquet. Rentals are available at the club if needed. Shoes: Please bring indoor gym shoes and change into them at the club before entering the courts. Winter Reminder: Ensure you change into court shoes before stepping onto the courts during the winter months. Rules and Guidelines: No outside food is allowed. This meetup is open to players of all skill levels (beginner to advanced). The primary purpose is to play friendly doubles games. This event is not intended for singles matches or formal training sessions. Attendance is capped based on court availability. Waitlisted participants may be moved to the confirmed list as space allows, with priority given to regular attendees and those with reliable RSVP history. No Drop-ins: Only individuals on the confirmed “Going” list are allowed to attend. Unregistered participants will be asked to leave. Cancellation Policy: Please cancel at least 48 hours in advance if you cannot attend. Failure to do so will result in being marked as a no-show. Repeated no-shows may lead to removal from future “Going” lists.
