High Heels Dance regular classes: Beginner
Mon, Nov 9, 4:30 PMHi girls! 🥰 I would like to invite you to our November High Heels regular classes on Beginner level, happening each Monday from 5:30 - 7:00 pm. In a dance room, you’ll learn the High Heels style basic steps, technique, balance, along with dance choreographies. We’ll also practice camera work, performance, and I want to organise a special class for you at the end of the month, with a professional recording of you dancing 💃🏽 The classes are beginner-friendly, so if you’ve never danced before or have only taken a few classes, these lessons are perfect for you😎 The special promo price for the first class is 15€ - come and see if it’s something you like 😽 Regular price for the 1.5 hour class is 20€, but if you decide to participate all November I have a special discount for you - 18€ each class. Sat, Nov 14, 9:30 AMAre you looking to try out ceramics or up-skill your existing knowledge? Look no further! This workshop is standalone or you can book a block of 4 that need not be consecutive. It takes place in a very spacious and bright studio and you are welcomed to come with your own ideas or simply follow along and let your creativity blossom during the mindful 3 hours of making. The main technique used during the session is hand-building giving you the option to create functional ware or small sculptural work. Beginners will be guided through the process using techniques such as slab building, coiling, pinching, texturing and surface decoration. The more advanced will be free to create and those with experience throwing would be welcomed to use the wheel which would need to be reserved in advance. Those of you who would like to learn about glazing would need to book 2 workshops. The workshops are mainly run in English but I do speak Catalan and Spanish. They also provide a great opportunity for non-native speakers to practice their English. They last 3 hours, materials and aprons are provided and your pieces will be fired and ready for pick up around 10 days after. Cost: 42€/person PayPal/40€ Bizum. Block of 4 workshops 150€ Age: 18+

The main technique used during the session is hand-building giving you the option to make so many different things for yourself, friends or family - bowls, plates, sushi dishes, plants pots and much more. Beginners will be guided through the process of making things using techniques such as slab building, coiling, pinching, texturing, under-glazing and glazing. The more advanced will be free to create and those with experience throwing would be welcome to use my wheel (to be reserved in advance). Those of you who would like to learn about glazing would need to book 2 workshops. The workshops are run in English but I do speak Catalan and Spanish. They also provide a great opportunity for non-native speakers to chat and learn. They last 2.5 hours and basic materials are provided. Durante dos horas y media vamos a crear una pieza de cerámica mientras compartimos el espacio con unas 12 personas. No hace falta tener experiencia: te acompañamos durante todo el proceso. Además, tendremos tarjetas con preguntas disparadoras para hacer circular la conversación, descubrir afinidades y dar pie a charlas diferentes. Podés venir solo/a o acompañado/a. Whether you've just moved to the city, are looking to make new friends, or simply want to start dancing, this class is designed to be easy, social, and pressure-free. *No previous dance experience needed.* **What you will learn** * What makes salsa special and how to dance to the music * Basic salsa steps * How leading and following works * Cross body lead and basic turns The focus is on learning the fundamentals while enjoying the social side of dancing. **Who this class is for** * Absolute beginners * People new in town * Anyone curious about salsa * Anyone looking to meet people through dance You can come **alone or with a partner**. We rotate partners when exercises allow it, so everyone gets a chance to practice and connect. **FAQ** Our classes are completely free and organized by volunteers. We don't ask for donations or require you to buy anything. Please respect the following rules so everyone can enjoy the experience. **How does admission work?** **First come, first served. Maximum 10 complete couples (10 leaders + 10 followers).** Everyone needs a matching partner role. For example, if 5 followers and 6 leaders arrive, only 5 couples can participate. The extra leader must wait for another follower. **What time does the class start?** We start as soon as we have 10 complete couples, or at **15:15 at the latest** with a minimum of 3 couples. Otherwise, the class is cancelled.
