About us

Welcome to Women without Kids – NH!
We’re a community of women in New Hampshire who don’t have children—whether by choice, by circumstance, or because we’re still deciding. If you’re currently living life without kids and seeking connection with others who get it, you’re in the right place.
Our primary purpose is social: to make meaningful connections, build friendships, and have fun together. We host inclusive, engaging events that spark laughter and foster a sense of belonging.

About 1 in 5 women never become mothers, yet our stories are often overlooked. We recognize the unique joys and challenges of being a non-parent in a culture that often equates womanhood with motherhood. This group exists to share experiences, create connection, and build a vibrant community where we feel seen, supported, and valued.

We honor the full spectrum of non-parenting experiences. Whether you’re childfree, childless, or still exploring your path, you’re welcome here. We look forward to connecting with you!

Please note to help create a safe space and aid in organizer administration, all individuals must have a profile with a clear picture of themselves and their name, otherwise will not be admitted.

✨🎶🧘‍♀️ Private Sound Bath (Salem, NH)

✨🎶🧘‍♀️ Private Sound Bath (Salem, NH)

Joy Wellness, 224 N Broadway, Salem, NH, US

Some of us experienced a sound bath with Ankati at a yoga retreat - it was "magical" + "transformative" so we put together a 1hr private session for the group that you won't want to miss. Come join us for a relaxing session to finish your weekend and reset for the week ahead. No prior experience necessary - even better if you are trying for the first time!

About:
Sound healing is a meditative experience that uses instruments such as crystal singing bowls, chimes, drums, and other resonant sounds to support relaxation and nervous system regulation. Participants simply lie down or sit comfortably while being immersed in layers of sound and vibration. Many people find that sound healing helps quiet the mind, reduce stress, and create a profound sense of calm, clarity, and connection.

Our Provider:
Ankati Day is a yoga teacher, ceremonialist, DJ, and sound healer who has been guiding transformative experiences since 2012. Her work blends mindfulness, music, and embodied awareness to create spaces where people can reconnect with themselves, release stress, and cultivate a deeper sense of presence.

Ankati’s sessions are known for being both grounding and deeply restorative, offering a gentle invitation to slow down, listen inward, and return to the heart.

Parking & Location:
There is plenty of free parking available. JOY's Studio is located in the Salem Market Place. It's on the second floor, in the part of the building that is closest to Rt. 28.

Things to bring:
Water, yoga mat, and any relaxing supplies you need. However, there are mats, bolsters, blocks, and blankets available in the studio.

Payment: The cost is $40 per person, we have paid for the session up front so please note no refunds once committed. Once you've RSVP'd I'll reach out with my details to confirm your spot & collect payment. 🙂

Note: Please give yourself time to park, find the studio (especially if it's your first time) and set up so we have a prompt start.
This class is not available to the public as it is a private session. Only prepaid participants may attend - thank you for understanding!
