Weekend Hikers and Beyond

From Montaña de Oro State Park to Pismo Preserve to the many morros, SLO County is full of great day hiking and walking trails. Whether you’re new to the area or a local who wants to know more, join me for this in-person presentation to learn about our most common hikes.

On the first Friday of each month, various downtown SLO businesses, galleries and non-profit organizations open their doors to feature original art from local artists. Generally, these venues provide an assortment of free snacks, such as wine, cheese, crackers, cookies, etc.

Let's get together and explore Art After Dark in SLO. We'll start gathering for no-host drinks and appetizers at the "S.Low Bar" lounge at Hotel San Luis Obispo at 5:00 pm, and will begin our walk at 6:00 pm.

We'll cover about 2 miles, so wear some comfortable shoes and bring something warm. The event runs until 8, but if you need to leave earlier, you can drop off the tour anytime.

Convenient public garage parking is located across the street and adjacent to the Hotel San Luis Obispo.

You can find us by walking straight through the lobby and go outside to the back patio/terrace. We'll be in the large seating area off to the right.
