Hi all! I recently took over this group and am super new to running one! I live in P.H., but happy to travel for a good movie! I have found that as you get older, it can be challenging to meet new people. I am keeping this group as a movie & dining club that will allow people to meet and socialize. I would also love a couple of co-hosts if possible!
The general idea: we would go to the movies 1-2 times a month and then go out to brunch/lunch/ dinner or drinks afterwards. It’s a great way to meet people and you’ll easily have something to discuss.
Please share with me your movie preferences and if there is a restaurant you like or are excited to try!
I intend to plan movies in Pleasant Hill,Concord and Walnut Creek.

Free Movie: The Godfather at the Orinda Theater

On the 3rd Thursday of each month Orinda theater offers a free movie at 6:30pm. Admission is free and you don't need tickets. They Valdate parking in the garage. Lets meet between 6:00 - 6:20 at the Boo Loo Lounge (Tiki Lounge) that is on the left hand side of the theater. We can purchase drinks and snack at the lounge that we can take into the theater. We'll go into the theater as a group at 6:25 so we can sit together (I'll have a sign that says "Contra Costa Movies and Dining". After the movie we can over to The Fourth Bore Taproom and grill for food, drinks and socialization.
