About us
Do you prefer long walks to running? Do you like trying new and exciting events in Colorado? Then this is your group! Come as you are, your true, authentic, amazing, imperfect self! Of course, avid runners are welcome too!
We try to walk weekly. We walk in different parks/outdoor trails located around the Denver Metro area. We will also plan museum exploring, outdoor/indoor galleries, art walls, music, camping, and any other adventures people are interested in. Suggestions encouraged!
The goal is to move our bodies more, participate in more local adventures, have meaningful connections with others, and establish a greater sense of community!

Hammond's Candy Factory Tour & Walk
5735 Washington Street, 5735 Washington St, Denver, CO 80216, USA, Denver, CO, USThe tour starts at 9:45, so please be on time.
A free 30-minute Candy Tour seems like a great idea before the holidays.
After the tour, we will drive 2 minutes away to Heron Pond/Heller Open Space to walk the 1.3-mile loop trail around the pond twice.
Tour: Unleash your sweet tooth and embrace your inner child as you witness the mesmerizing world of confectionery come to life. Marvel at the creation of lollipops, candy canes, and other irresistible Hammond's treats (5,000lbs per day!). Learn about our rich Mile High City history and fascinating tidbits about nostalgic candies. Learn more!
Walk: This small, tree-ringed lake sits in the middle of an urban open space, but it can attract surprising birds. Look for ducks in the colder months, and during migration, hope for a wandering prairie bird like a Loggerhead Shrike or a Lark Bunting; they aren’t normally found in the city, but occasionally stop here due to the open habitat. This natural area is connected by trails to the adjacent Northside Park and the bike path along the South Platte River. Please note that there is only street parking available.

"In the Year of our Lord 1858, an unusual governess named Winifred Notty arrives at the gothic manor known as Ensor House. Winifred's responsibilities include teaching the children table manners and educating them about their family history - all whilst hiding her own psychopathic tendencies. But as staff members begin disappearing, the owners of the estate start to wonder if there may be something amiss with their new governess. Victorian Psycho invites us into the mind of a psychopath - trapped in a world she cannot control, living on the border between insurrection and madness. Courtesy of Bleecker Street Media."
