This group is dedicated to creating and maintaining trails in the Town of Victor, NY. These trails are open to the public - check out http://victorhikingtrails.org/vhtmap.php. Additionally, the group leads hikes that anyone may attend. Want to build a bridge, construct a boardwalk or chase down invasive species? Extra Hike - With GVHC - Manchester Gateway Trail
Victor Town Hall, 85 East Main Street, Victor, NY, USVHT is piggybacking onto a Genesee Valley Hiking Club (GVHC) hike on the Manchester Gateway Trail. The hike is on a flat wide stone-dust for the most part with a quick jaunt through an old cemetery. Below is the description of the hike as posted on the GVHC Meetup page.
Hike Name: Manchester Gateway Trail.
Hike Date: Monday, January 19, 8 a.m. (MLK Day)
Difficulty/Terrain: Moderate/strenuous. Faster pace.
Distance: ~5 mile hike.
Where to Park/Meet: Meet behind the Victor Town Hall, 85 East Main Street, Victor at 8 a.m. to carpool to the Manchester Gateway Trailhead at Manchester Fire House, 8 Clifton Street, Manchester at 8.30 a.m. (For location and directions see maps).

Extra Hike - With GVHC - Seneca & Crescent Trails
Kreag Road Park, 555 Kreag Road, Pittsford, NY, USThis is an extra hike where VHT is piggybacking onto a GVHC hike. Since this is primarily a GVHC hike dogs are not allowed. See the description below:
Hike Name: Seneca Trail/Crescent Trail.
Hike Date: Saturday, January 24, 8 a.m.
Difficulty/Terrain: Strenuous and hilly.
Distance: 7-8 mile hike.
Where to Park/Meet: Meet in the parking lot for Kreag Road Park, 555 Kreag Road in Bushnell's Basin and carpool to Valentown Hall on High St, Victor, N.Y. (Click on the map for location and directions.)
