Note: All children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult guardian aged 18+. Older siblings are welcome, with proper parent/guardian supervision

All aboard! This week will be an adventure across the sea. We'll take a ferry boat to Guemes Island, We'll enjoy stunning views along the way. We'll briefly explore the beach on the island, and have lunch at the General store/restaurant, then return on the ferry boat again.
Tickets: Round trip fare is $6.75 per adult for walk-on passage; children are free. Pay at the ferry terminal. No reservations needed. Parking is free.
Timeline:
9:30 - Arrive at ferry terminal, purchase tickets
9:40 - Board the ferry boat
9:45 - Depart
9:50 - Arrive at Guemes Island
10:00 - Explore the beach
10:30 - Snack/Lunch/story at the general store
11:10 - Board ferry boat for return trip
11:15 - Depart
11:20 - Arrive in Anacortes
*Note: There are also ferry crossings at 10:15 and 10:45 for late-comers. Return crossings from depart Guemes 8 minutes after Anacortes departures. Full schedule hereWhat to bring:

Sneaky, sneaky! This week, we'll meet at Washington Park in Anacortes. We'll go for a shore & trail walk in the area and see what birds we can spot. We'll finish off the morning with a story and a picnic together.
*Note: Bring binoculars if you have them...a couple extra sets of binoculars will be provided.Timeline:
10:00 - Meet at the park (pavilion near the boat launch)
10:15 - Begin walk / bird-watching
10:50 - Return to picnic area
11:00 - Story time with Mr. Adam (organizer)

This week, we'll play at an awesome playground. Then we'll go for a walk around the park.
*Note - This playground is mostly designed for older children, so active supervision is important on or near any equipment. But there is also lots of open space for play with balls, toys, etc. Playing surfaces include wood chips, concrete/asphalt, dirt, and grass.Timeline:

- La Conner Waterfront Park - Walkabout & PicnicConner Waterfront Park, La Conner, WA
This week, we'll start at Conner Waterfront Park, and go for a short stroll up to Pioneer Park on the hill. We'll discover the ages of some big trees, then enjoy storytime together. After that, we'll return to the waterfront for a picnic.
