What we’re about
We are a nonprofit organization focused on building Hawaii’s startup and tech economy. We do events, a newsletter, partnerships, and more. Learn more about what we do at www.thrivehi.org!
Our Vision
One day, Hawaiʻi has a flourishing tech scene where locals can thrive as high-earning tech professionals, remote workers, or entrepreneurs.
Our Mission
We’re building Hawaii’s startup and tech economy to create higher-quality jobs for local residents and strengthen our state’s economic resilience.
By joining the ThriveHI community, we ask that you live into the following community values:
- Kuleana: We have a deep sense of responsibility and commitment to bettering our community. We work to uplift each other, and we make sure to leave the physical spaces we gather in better than we found it.
- Ha’a Ha’a: Regardless of what we’ve achieved, there is always more opportunity to grow. We approach every interaction with a sense of curiosity and humility.
- Pono: We act with the utmost sense of righteousness.
A huge mahalo to our sponsors, Builders VC, HTDC, Hub Coworking Hawaii, AEP, Boxjelly, Elemental Impact, Hawaii Angels, OMVC, 1938 Indochine, and Joey Katzen, for their ongoing support in making these gatherings possible.
