Hobart Board Games and Coastal Board Games. Every weekend we play board games from Settlers of Catan to Nemesis, card games from Too Many Cooks to Coup and many others too.
Once a month in Hobart Blood on the Clocktower is hosted.

HoGS: Hobart Games Society
Tasmanian Bridge Association, 5 Marine Esplanade, New Town, TA, AUCome and join us for a board games night at our Bridge venue. The tables and lighting are great with easy parking.
All are welcome to come and join us, to play any kind of tabletop game, board, card, tile, whatever you like. Feel free to bring your own games or join one of our games.
We invite you to join us for the first time to see what it's like, at no obligation whatsoever. We welcome new/beginner board gamers! We are all friendly and approachable.
There's usually a group of 15-25 people each week.
Subsequent visits we request a $5 donation towards venue hire costs which you can avoid by joining HoGS as a financial member.
We have plenty of games so feel free to just join us. First time is free.
Meetup is only 1 of our advertising methods and we regularly have 4+ tables of boardgames running at the same time.
Please feel free to ask for a specific game to be brought and we may be able to bring it to play.

CoGs: Monthly Meetup
The Big Blue Bungalow, Montagu Street, Mount Stuart, Hobart, al, AUThe CoGs tagline is competitive in play, collaborative in life, they cooperate to compete. We tend to encourage and play meatier more challenging games, but are known to indulge in frivolity at times too.
We meet once a month on the first Saturday of the month, generally hosting 2 or 3 tables, capable of hosting 4, or 5 at a squeeze.
The theme of this meetup is: Regular. That is regular players, regular games. We concentrate on replay of favourite games and running leaderboards. This is not an event to try a new game out every month, and it is not an event that encourages casual attendance. Newcomers are always welcome, and a casual visit to gauge interest is always welcome too, but regular attendance should be the goal.
The venue is private, snacks and drinks are welcome and enjoyed, many of us sip a glass of red while mellow music plays to our game play.1 attendee
