An ongoing series of community-based writing sessions designed to support writers through different rhythms, needs, and creative seasons.
### Exploring Different Ways Writers Come Together
Writers’ Circle is an ongoing series of community-based writing sessions at Studio Kash, designed to support writers through different rhythms, needs, and creative seasons. Rather than a single class or fixed format, Writers’ Circle is an umbrella for multiple types of gatherings some guided, some self-directed, some share-based, all rooted in creating intentional space to write, consistently and with community.
This session is one format within Writers’ Circle: a self-guided writing circle with optional peer feedback, ideal for writers who want dedicated time to write alongside others, with the option to gently share and receive encouragement.
### How This Session Flows
This format follows a calm, predictable rhythm:
• 1 hour of focused, quiet writing A shared writing window where everyone works independently but together. Bring something in progress, start fresh, or respond to a light prompt if you want inspiration.
• 1 hour of relaxed socializing + optional sharing An open, welcoming space to connect, talk process, and if you choose, share a short excerpt. Feedback is always gentle, affirming, and peer-based. No formal critique.
### What This Format Is About
Writing together instead of alone
Building consistency without pressure
Encouragement over perfection
Making space for creative work in busy lives
Letting writing be a lived, shared practice, not a performance
### Each Session Includes
A consistent 2-hour creative rhythm
Optional writing prompts
Light, encouraging peer feedback (always optional)
Cozy writing space, community of other writers, wine, snacks, tea
### Other Writers’ Circle Formats We Will Offer
The Studio Kash Writers’ Circle is intentionally flexible and may include:
Learn: Structured, guided sessions led by guest writers, educators, or facilitators of different writing styles (based on their availability) as our community grows
Write: Self-directed writing circles (like this one) with optional peer feedback
Share: Share-your-work / critique-light nights, focused on reading work aloud and group reflection
Formats rotate each week based on interest, facilitators, and community needs and availability.
