Hello Friends,
Our Meetup is all about good company, meaningful connections, and fun experiences.
From beach walks and happy‑hour laughs to artsy afternoons, movies, sailing, volunteering, hikes, game nights, poolside parties, wineries, dancing, health and wellness, concerts, and local fairs—we like to keep things lively and low‑pressure. Whether you’re diving into a craft or a conversation, there’s something for everyone here. We choose venues with heart (occasionally even a little haute cuisine), so please don’t judge the host if the fries are floppy or the service is slow. No cliques, no pressure—just good vibes and great company.
Life happens—especially when health and energy can be unpredictable. All I ask is that you update your RSVP as soon as you’re able so we can keep things running smoothly. No guilt, no stress—just do your best and take care of you.

Connect & Create: An Expressive Arts Journaling Afternoon!
Aptos Library-A Santa Cruz City-County Public Library Branch, 7695 Soquel Drive, Aptos, CA, USHello Friends,
Join us for another expressive arts journaling group on Saturday, Janurary 24th from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. at the Aptos Library. We’ll be using mixed media layering techniques - adding expressive layers and a variety of materials and techniques including paint, collage, lines pens, markers, stencils, stamps, ink, words, and other ephemera of all kinds - to express a feeling or idea. We will experience a guided visualization, question or prompt, and then move into creating, and then share our insights and creations as a group. This experience is about expression and not about ‘making art’ per se. All levels of artistic expression are welcome, including those with no art background or experience. We will be walking you through the process step by step and you are welcome to either follow along or pursue your own creation.
All materials will be provided, although you are welcome to bring your own art journal and/or meaningful copies of photos or images you like, or other materials you’d like to use, etc.
We will also provide snacks and refreshments.
