About us
This meetup for anyone, age 50 and up, who want to have fun and make new friends. Some of our current activities include picnics, bowling, game nights, Super Bowl parties, and outings, such as exploring downtown LA's flower market and garmet district. We're expanding our activities and are open to new ideas. Most of our activities are in southern LA County or northern Orange County. If you've got some great ideas, we would love to hear them.

Craig Regional Park in Fullerton is in the most urban location of the regional parks. It’s right across the Imperial Highway near Brea Mall.
CRAIG REGIONAL PARK - FULLERTON, CA
Conveniently located near the 57 Freeway, but isolated from the outside world. It has wonderful rolling green slopes, beautiful trees and sparkling water. Craig Regional Park is located in the cities of Fullerton and Brea adjacent to the Orange # 57 Freeway. This park is around 124 acres. It is one of the cleanest with several ponds located around the park with ducks to feed or chase. There are people who fish there as well. It has several baseball diamonds, tennis courts, racquetball courts, volleyball courts and open fields, there is something for everyone. There are pathways to walk the entire park which could take a few hours. There are clean bathrooms and picnic areas everywhere. The Parking fee inside iss $3- $7 depending on the day of the week. However, there is plenty of free parking outside on the streets.
We normally walk 2.5 miles to 2.75 miles mostly flat surface along with a little bit hikes. Group will start walking at 10:05 AM sharp, so please allow enough time to park and take the short walk to the meeting place.

Pre Fathers Day but Post Mothers Day Picnic, Hosted by Joe Mohammed
Cortez Park, 2441 E Cortez St, West Covina, CA, USPLEASE PACK A CHAIR IN YOUR CAR. ALSO, IF YOU WISH, BRING A GAME. Join us as we celebrate anything every thing even divorce with an outdoor potluck picnic at Cortez Park in West Covina. I'll cancel if the weather is bad, so if I don't cancel, I'll be there.
Tell you the truth, I won't do anything except just camp out earlier in the park. However, anyone of you can join me there, if you feel sorry for me. I will be the one watching the birds singing & the humanoids are being walked by their pets ( mainly dogs). Now comes the real things, it is ur picnic u help us make it successful/failure.
I may bring 1 or 2 gallons of cheap filtered H2O. We will meet in a park shelter by the parking lot on Cortez Street. The shelters can not be reserved, so we may be elsewhere in the park, hopefully close to the shelters. *** We dine earlier rather than later, and you may not like the leftovers.**** If you have a favorite dish, please bring it. If possible. please bring a side or main dish. After the picnic is over, please TAKE HOME any of your remaining food. I'll show up at the park around 12:30 to save the tables. I request our female population to bring table covers or whatever they think of to run a picnic. I may bring some paper plates, knives, fork, napkins, if I remember. Just make it successful. we rather have xtra supplies than shortage of supplies. This will give us something else to do instead of watching me dancing without music. And, don't forget to bring juicy gossips & few mildly dirty jokes for senior gatherings, along with a strong jaw muscles ( just joking).
Call Joe Mohammed 714 814-0447 or email drcr4me@yahoo.comThis event is for So Cal Fun and also scheduled with other Meetup Groups so the number of people who have RSVP'd may be more than shown on this group.**
