The historic Rockingham Ballroom has the area’s largest and only floating wood floor built spe cifically for dancing. Our events host some of the biggest names of big bands, dating from 1934. 8500 sf with a 4000 sf dance floor. Café style seating. Featured monthly events live big band and swing sound with free lessons, Stand up comedy, tribute bands, line dancing with lesson featured DJ dancing with monthly themes We also are available to rent for parties, classes, meetings.

Ballroom Social Dance
Rockingham Ballroom, 22 Ash Swamp Rd, Newmarket, NH, USJoin us for an evening of classic ballroom dancing on New England’s largest wooden dance floor! The night begins with a special Tango lesson led by Frank Markgren and Suzanne Kahill of Fox Run Dance Company. Dancing together for decades and performing in showcases throughout New England, Frank and Suzanne are known for their improvisation and flair on the dance floor.
During this 45-minute class, they’ll take simple, familiar Tango patterns and show you easy ways to add flair, drama, and a little “wow” factor to your dancing. Then put your moves into action with social dancing featuring a lively mix of Waltz, Foxtrot, Cha Cha, Rumba, Tango, and Jive (East Coast Swing).
No partner? No problem! Male and female dance hosts will be available throughout the evening for singles and couples alike.

Latin Dance Night with DJ Javier & Fluere Dance

Join Nina El-Badry, Founder and Artistic Director of Fluere Dance and certified Sensual Movement Bachata instructor, along with her performance partner, Jonathan Lopez, on September 19 for a fun and welcoming beginner Bachata bootcamp!
You’ll learn the basics of Bachata (a partner dance) timing, footwork, partner connection, and movement, and put it all together in an easy, fun dance combination. No partner and no previous dance experience needed.
