RI Fun Times

Ragged Island Brewing Company was born in 2016 as an idea among good friends who shared a passion for craft beer, the outdoors, and entrepreneurship. In March of 2017, we opened our doors as a 1 bbl brewery before quickly upgrading to a 3.5 bbl system by July of 2017.
Five years of twists and turns later, we’ve finally opened the doors at our new farm home at 54 Bristol Ferry Road in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. With 37 acres of farmland and woods to explore, our working farm has a lot to offer!
We have completely renovated the barn to be a state-of-the art brewing facility for our new 10 barrel brewhouse. This system is the perfect size for small batches of our fan favorite recipes, with plenty of room for new and experimental brews. And we have completely remodeled our 1890s farmhouse taproom to offer a comfortable and friendly atmosphere for sampling and retail sales with multiple outdoor decks, a greenhouse, and stunning views of Narragansett Bay.

If your not a fan of beer they have other drink options Hard Seltzer, Spiked Lemonade, Gluten Free Hard Limeade and non alcohol options.

Join me at my new favorite place in Rhode Island. Sunset Cove overlooks the beautiful Bluebill Cove in Portsmouth and is a great place for gathering with friends. We will meet at the Cafe for coffee, pastry or a breakfast sandwich and then head a few minutes down the road to Aquidneck Land Trust - Town Pond Trail and walk off those calories. It is an easy 1-mile trail and very pretty and of course always optional for those who don't want to or can't easily walk.

NOTE: Parking is limited at the Cafe so if carpooling is possible, please do so. I think we will be ok in the AM on a weekday. Also, if it rains, we can eat inside and still enjoy the view and the gathering, but we will most likely need to break up into groups to socialize. It is a small but cozy cafe with a killer view!!!

Join me for a full night of beginner line dancing hosted by Get In Line RI. Line dance walkthroughs and lessons are provided as needed throughout the night. Its lots of fun and great exercise. We will be skipping the dinner and will gather at 6:45pm just before dancing begins. There is always opportunity to order drinks and food throughout the evening. There is no fee to dance but donations to Get in Line are always welcome.
