What we’re about
Love reading books? Love them even more when queer women take the lead? Join the Queer Ladies Book Club (QLBC)! My wife and I established QLBC in August of 2022 and over the last three years have met hundreds of fellow readers from around Northeast Ohio who enjoy queer fiction—from sci‑fi and fantasy to contemporary romance and beyond. We’re here to eat good food, sip good drinks (alcoholic or not), and dive into characters and plots that delight, frustrate, and fascinate us.
How it works:
- Each month, a host picks three book options and the group votes for the winner
- We meet on (or near) the second Friday of each month
- Hosts choose the venue: a home, café/restaurant, park, library
- The host kicks off with a few discussion questions—love the book or hate it, let’s chat!
Everyone whose pronouns include she/her (always or sometimes) is welcome. Ready to read with us? Find an upcoming event and RSVP!
