This Meetup started around NY 2026 as an experiment. We’ll see how it evolves over the coming months 😎 We’re basically trying to make spontaneous & planned real-life connections in Leuven easier ✨
Alongside this Meetup group, I’m building a native mobile app in (Open Beta, Leuven-only for now) where people post daily micro-events like:

💡 Bringing entrepreneurs together to help each other
There’s already an active core of 100 weekly active people chatting and meeting up daily, so what you see on Meetup is really just "the tip of the iceberg". I simply don’t have the bandwidth to constantly repost and update the multiple daily plans from the app here.
That said, I’m happy to explore adding co-admins for this group, so others can help post and keep events here up to date.
So, in a nutshell:
👉 Meetup = "Flagship" community events
For example my quarterly house parties and other key moments. These also appear in the app.
👉 Whadup = everything else + the flagships

Right after Carnaval in Leuven, my place turns into a fully decorated Carnaval playground with live DJs etc.
March 14 is also Pi Day (π) + Einstein’s birthday 🤓 And... St. Patrick’s Day few days away, anything goes costume-wise. Be creative, silly, elegant, or all at once. We stop around midnight, then head to the centre for those that want 🕺💃
We ask a small fee to cover drinks, fingerfood & decor. Although drinks are covered, we still allow you to BYOB if you prefer something specific or like sharing ;) +1’s certainly possible BUT limited spots. Your ticket via Whadup guarantees entry ✔️ Can’t wait to celebrate this one with you 💜
