About Us: The Orange County/ Inland Empire Social Singles is for singles who are 50 years to 100 years young, and live or work in Orange County, Western San Bernardino County, Western Riverside County, and Eastern Los Angeles County and vicinity. For singles looking to enhance their social lives, meet with existing friends, and establish new connections and friendships, and possibly find your special someone. This is also a private Meetup group, so our events and your membership are hidden from public view and non-members. Only members of this group are able to view our Meetup group’s full contents, events and members.

Our Mission: Our mission is to create Fun Social Activities and Events where we can enjoy the fellowship of other people and develop and maintain healthy connections and friendships. Events may include dining, hiking, walks in the park, picnics, taco Tuesday, a celebration, attending fairs and festivals, parades, live music events, online Zoom video events, tea and coffee, wine tasting, boards games, Christian events, volunteering, watching sports, car shows, happy hour, day trips, watching movies, day at the beach, train rides, and other social events. We also are open to your ideas and suggestions for events.

We Need Event Organizers: We value your ideas for events, so we encourage you to become an event organizer. For a meetup group to be of value and to grow, creative organizers for the group are necessary. Membership dues are waived for Event Organizers

MEMBERSHIP POLICIES & DISCLAIMER
All members are required to comply with these Membership Policies. These Policies are to ensure the safety and security of our members and attendees. It also ensures the integrity of our group by holding everyone accountable.
1. ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE: This group has a $10 annual membership fee. This goes towards the costs related to running the group:. , Membership allows you to enjoy fun filled, and safe events with entertainment, adventure, dining, music, and to develop friendships. The current Meetup Organizers (not members) annual subscription (now at $299 per year), reserving a venue, printing signs, organizer's time to find and schedule fun events,, and other related costs. Fees are payable via Venmo: @Albert-Lucero-724, Zelle: 657-296-1119, or cash. If a member decides to leave the group, or is removed for violating the group's Membership Policies, the Annual Dues will not be refunded.
2. SAFETY & SECURITY POLICY: We must be able to identify everyone who are members of this group. You must have a clear, current unobscured photo of yourself (no photos with sunglasses, hats, face coverings, group photos, animals, scenery, blurry, shirtless, or suggestive photos. Your profile name must be your real first name only (no titles, nicknames, abbreviations, letters, symbols or numbers).
3. LOCATION POLICY: This group is in Orange County in Southern California. People who live or work within 15 miles of the vicinity may join this group. Membership will be declined for anyone outside the 15-mile range, out of state, or out of the country.
4. BEHAVIOR POLICY: Please be respectful, courteous, and sober. No gossiping, arguing, or discussions about hot topics (politics, race, religion, wars, other people or groups). No profanity allowed. Harassment and Stalking is Prohibited! This includes unwanted leering, touching, suggestive comments, explicit language, or unsolicited messages through Meetup. Please Report violations to the host. Offenders will be removed and reported, and crimes will be reported to police.
5. EVENT RSVP POLICY: Everyone who attends must be on the “Going” List. If you are unable to attend, please change your RSVP to “Not Going” or notify the host. Please add the event to your personal calendar. Only RSVP if you truly plan to participate. Some events are scheduled on multiple Meetup groups, so more people may attend than shown for this group.
6. NOTIFICATIONS POLICY: Keep your Meetup notifications turned on for this group, and check your Meetup messages, and personal email for event updates, changes and confirmations.
7. CONFIRMATIONS POLICY: You may be asked to confirm your RSVP so the host can give the venue an accurate headcount for a reservation. If you don’t confirm, you will be moved to “Not Going.” You may still go to the venue, but you may not be able to sit with the group. No-shows may be removed or blocked from future events.
8. DISCLAIMER: As a member, you agree to participate at your own risk. The organizers and group members are not responsible or liable for any injury, loss, damage, health issues, harassment, or harm to you, your family, friends, children, pets, vehicle, or personal property arising from any group activity. We care about your well‑being and will offer support if something does occur. Each attendee is responsible for using the Meetup website and app. Organizers, hosts, and other attendees do not provide Meetup training or tech support. Group membership is strictly “at will.” Photos may be taken at events and shared on Meetup or social media for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed, please let us know or avoid group photos.
