Volunteer Work Day at The Barnyard Sanctuary - Warren County
Hope, private, NJ, USJoin NJveg for a volunteer work day! We’ll be helping the vegan non-profit The Barnyard Sanctuary. We highly recommend bringing a water bottle, bug spray, sunblock, work gloves, work boots, and clothes that can get dirty. We'll be painting Club PigMed, so please dress appropriately. If you’d like to donate, you can do so at the sanctuary or online.
Children 14+ accompanied by a parent welcome. Please sign up only if you are serious about attending and plan to attend for the full time. If anything comes up and you need to cancel, let us know ASAP, so that we may fill your spot. We’ve had a problem with last minute cancellations – don’t be that person! Inclement weather date Saturday June 27. The address (in Hope) will be provided privately to volunteers before the event.

Educational Outreach at Philly VegFest – Pennsylvania
Girard College, 2101 S College Ave # 121, Philadelphia, PA, USNJveg will answer questions and provide free literature on the benefits of a plant-based life. Come out for an hour, or the entire event. Help spread the word that going vegan saves animals, protects the environment, and improves your health! No experience is necessary. We particularly need help setting up (at 10am) and packing up (to about 7:30pm). Please let us know what times you are available, and only RSVP if you're volunteering.

Hiking + Vegan Dining - Monmouth County
Big Brook Park, 521 Route 520, Marlboro, NJ, USDate and time are tentative. The 123rd in NJveg’s hiking/walking + vegan dining series will start at Big Brook Park (521 Route 520, Marlboro, NJ 07746). Afterward, we’ll head to Vegan Tree (Matawan Mall, Suite 4, 952 NJ Rt 34, Matawan, NJ 07747) for an early dinner. Inclement weather date TBD. Please review NJveg's restaurant trip guidelines, and note that only vegan food may be ordered at our table.
