What we’re about
The Newtown Square Trails & Greenway Committee is working on connecting walking trails throughout Newtown Square - and beyond! The township’s strategic plan will ultimately allow us all to walk from Willistown on our western edge, to Radnor on our eastern border.
Like to explore and expand these trails with us?
Come along! We offer great information about the existing and planned walking and biking trails throughout the township- both from environmental and historic perspectives. And sometimes there are refreshments!
Get some fresh air, make new friends, and learn about Newtown Square!

About the Colonial Pennsylvania Farmstead
Colonial Pennsylvania Farmstead, located in Ridley Creek State Park, is a Revolutionary Era living history farm where visitors experience the daily life, skills, challenges, and triumphs of colonial farmers during a transformative period in history. The Farmstead has been a working farm for over 300 years starting as a William Penn land grant in the late 17th century to four generations of the Quaker Pratt family to a now living history farm celebrating 50 years as a historic site in 2026. Sarah Lerch has worked at the Farmstead for over 4 years and serves as the site’s Executive Director. Her favorite skills to participate in and interpret are plowing, ox driving, and spinning.22 attendees
