Kirtan is the heart of Bhakti yoga—the path of love and devotion. Through call-and-response chanting of sacred mantras, we quiet the mind, open the heart, and return to what is most true. Whether you're new to chanting or it's a cherished part of your practice, this evening invites you into a space of presence, connection, and sacred sound.
You don’t need to “be a singer” to join. Kirtan is for every voice and every body. You're welcome to dance, sit in stillness, or simply let the music move through you.
Bring your water bottle, something comfy to sit on and a few beloveds.
Featuring Dana Kaplan:
Dana blends ancient Eastern mantras with the soul of Western music—think pop, rock, and a whole lot of heart. An accomplished yoga teacher, vocalist, and Certified Laughter Yoga Teacher, Dana brings over a decade of experience and a contagious joy to every chant circle. Her unique sound and vibrant presence create a deeply moving, playful, and powerfully healing experience.
From intimate living room gatherings to festivals up and down the East Coast, Dana’s greatest joy is sharing the nectar of mantra and song in community. Come feel the resonance. Come chant. Come home.

Join friends & bhakti community over the weekend of LOVE with some of your favorite female kirtan wallahs for an intimate afternoon and evening of music and mantra as we celebrate the Divine Creative Feminine force rising within ALL of us (men are welcome too!)
Kirtan wallahs are: Cheryl Chaffee, Mirabai Moon, Felicia Rose, Dana Kaplan and Yvette Om. The devis are super exctied to be back together and to have Gina Minyard on percussion and Gershone Hendelberg on keyboard this year for the house band!
The Shakti Kirtan Fest is Saturday from 1:00-10:00pm with the main, vegetarian meal provided.
Sunday, 2/14 from 10:30am-12:30pm, Yvette Om leads "Exploring the I AM Vibration" workshop. Immerse into Sacred Sounding of the Universal Mantra I AM for internal resonance and peace through chanting, song, meditation, contemplation and journaling.
You may attend one day or both. Look for the "COMBO" on the ticket page if you plan on attending both days to save.

This is a very special and intimate kirtan festival weekend takes place at a private home in Longwood, FL (Orlando area). Space is limited and always sells out. Secure your spot early. Early Bird pricing ends 1/17/27 at midnight. Address will be provided upon registration.

I AM is one of the most widely used Mantras for spiritual connection and expansive awareness. In Sanskrit, an ancient language from the East, its wording is 'Sat Nam' which translates as 'Truth is my
identity' or in the name of Truth. What is Truth? How do we find it? These days, with so much information/stimulation downloading and exciting our senses how do we even begin to decipher what Truth means? What is its nature? In this hands on workshop together we will explore the I AM Mantra through chanting, song, meditation, contemplation and journaling. This workshop welcomes newcomers and seasoned chanters.
