"The Artist's Way" Book Club

Looking for like-minded people who are interested in reading The Artist's Way [English, 2020 edition] AND doing the practices in the books in a 12 weeks cycle.

The book by Julia Cameron, is known for its tools and techniques to help readers to unearth their creative potentials. You don't think yourself an artist? I am looking for readers who are not only interested in this cause, but can also be committed to read the content and practice the tools in the book, so we keep each other motivated. How does the book club work?

• Your obligation: come to the weekly Book Club online sessions, prior to the session we all need to complete reading the designated chapter of the book.
• Rotating chairman: the responsibility of facilitating the discussion each week rotates among all of us.
• Total Duration: 13 weeks
  • First week to meet and greet, exchange thoughts on The Basic Tools: Morning Pages and the Artist Date
  • 12 weeks of reading cycle (1 week per chapter)
• What do we discuss: we are free to share our doubts, ask questions and exchange ideas relevant to the book. We reserve 30 mins every time for reporting to each other how we progressed on the "homework" the book gives us. How we are doing on that, if we observe any changes etc.
• When: after the club is formed with at least 5 members, we vote on the day/time for weekly online sessions.
• Where: weekly sessions are online, the organizer will share the link to meetings.
• Offline meetups: we will organize a once a month offline meetup, get connected with a nice cup of tea/coffee in nice Geneva neighborhoods.
