Looking to meet fun, friendly, and outgoing people in the local area? You’ve come to the right place!
We’re a group of sociable professionals (approx. 30–55 years old) based in and around Maidstone, who love making the most of life — whether you’re new to the area or just finding that your friends don’t go out as much anymore, this is a great way to meet new people with shared interests.
Our events include:
- Drinks & dinners
- Comedy nights & cinema trips
- Gigs & festivals
- Walks & paddleboarding (SUP)
- Escape Rooms
- Plus trips across Kent, East Sussex and the occasional outing to London!
We’re a non-profit group, but running it does come with high subscription fees, so we kindly ask for a £12.50 annual contribution to help us keep everything going and continue offering great events.
🔹 New members can attend one meetup for free (within 2 months of joining) before being asked to contribute.
A few friendly guidelines:
- ✅ Please upload a clear, up-to-date photo of your face — it helps us recognise each other at events and keeps the group safe.
- ✅ Keep your RSVPs up to date, especially for limited spaces (e.g. meals). Repeated no-shows may lead to removal from the group.
- ✅ Be respectful, inclusive and kind — we’re here to have fun and build genuine friendships.
- ❌ This is not a dating group. Please don’t send private messages to members you haven’t met in person. Any inappropriate contact will result in a ban and report to Meetup.
- 😌 Nervous about your first event? You’re not alone — we all started somewhere, and you’ll be made very welcome. Feel free to message the host of an event if you’d like reassurance beforehand.
We’re always open to event suggestions, and if you’d like to help run events, we’d love to have you on board — just speak to an organiser at a meetup or drop us a message.
