Digital Healthcare Support Day
New Bank Health Centre, 339 Stockport Rd, Longsight, Manchester M12 4JE, Manchester, GBWe will be hosting a digital healthcare support day to solve your tech conundrums on Thursday 15th January from 10am to 3pm.
Come along for friendly, one-to-one support with the online tools and apps you use to manage your health - or your life. You can get help with things like:
- Using the NHS App to order prescriptions or view your health record
- Accessing your GP services through Patient Access
- Finding and managing hospital appointments with MyMFT
- Using online systems such as Patches to contact your GP practice
- General guidance on staying safe and confident using health websites and apps
- Anything from emails, booking holidays, CVs, to finding ways to cut your bills

Fun with micro:bit Bots (SEND Session)
Stockport Museum, 30/31 Market Place, Stockport, Greater Manchester, SK1 1ES, Manchester, GBGet ready to design, build, and control your very own micro:bit robots in this fun robotics workshop!
This workshop will give you an introduction to coding games with micro:bit, the pocked-sized computer designed to inspire creative thinking in children.
You will:
- Learn the basics of computer programming using a friendly drag-and-drop code interface
- Learn about physical computing while loading your code onto a micro:bit electronic device
- Program and control a micro:bit-powered robot
This is a workshop for SEND children aged 7-12.
Each session is 2 hours long. Sign up for one of two sessions on Thursday 15th January:

In this free 90-minute workshop, you'll discover how to:
• Password management & two-factor authentication
• Recognising phishing emails and scams
• Protect your personal information and privacy
• Take simple steps to stay secure every day
Through hands-on practice, real-life examples, and group discussion, you'll gain confidence in protecting yourself online.
