LGBTQ+ Meetup Group at the London Art Bar

Happy Pride everyone! Every summer at The London Art Bar, we host a screening of the 2014 Pride movie. It is one of my favourite LGBTQ+ movies, and the atmosphere is always really lovely.

We'll open the doors at 7PM, giving you a chance to grab a drink and do some mingling. We'll then start the movie itself just before 8PM.

Pride follows a group of LGBT+ activists who form an alliance with a small mining community in Wales during the era of the miners' strike under the Thatcher Government. It's uplifting and impactful.

Hi everyone! The 2026 Men’s World Cup is nearly here, and The London Art Bar will be running a number of inclusive screenings for the girls, gays and theys.

The first match (England v Croatia) is Wed 17 June, with doors opening at about 7:30-8PM and kick off at 9PM.

We’ll have the match up on the big screen on the stage. There will be plenty of time before kick off to chat and meet new people, and of course at half time.

Now in our fourth year, our meet-ups are all about meeting new people, making friends, and having a good time in a queer-friendly space.

The meet-ups have a very relaxed vibe with background music at just the right volume for chatting to people! There are also some boardgames on the shelves if people fancy playing them. Feel free to bring your own!

I (Gareth) try my best to greet everybody, but this is of course easier at the beginning of the event. If you are ever stuck, say hello to our friendly bar team who can point you in my direction.
