We'll climb Mt.atago, wester part of Kyoto near Arashiyama. This place had been seen as worship place like Mt. Hiei and beloved by Kyoto citizens . It'a the second tallest mountains in Kyoto city.

In November , climates is mild , so it's suitable for Hiking!

After hiking, we’ll go to night light up of autumn leaves at HougouinTemple and go to Onsen . If you wanna, you can go home directly after hiking.

As you know, autumn leaves in Kyoto is very beautiful and every year, many people from all over the world come to see it.

京都の西部、嵐山に近い愛宕山に登ります。この山は比叡山と同じく、昔から、信仰の地として京都市民に愛されてきました。京都市内で2番目に高い山と言われています。
ハイキングの難易度はそれほど高くありません。気候も穏やかなのでハイキングに最適です。運動不足に苦しんだり、暑いのが嫌だという人、ぜひ参加しましょう！
ハイキングの後は京都の中心部に行き、紅葉の夜間ライトアップを楽しむ予定です。
ご存知のとおり、京都の紅葉はとても美しく、毎年世界中から多くの人が京都を訪れます。今回は、嵐山の宝厳院の紅葉ナイトライトアップに行き、その後温泉で疲れをいあやします！！なお、ライトアップ及び温泉はオプションですので、ハイキングの後にすぐに家に帰ることも可能です。

行程は以下の通りです。

Not only cherry blossoms but also autumn leaves are famous!
Yoshinoyama is well-known as a World Heritage Site and one of Japan’s top cherry blossom spots, but in autumn the cherry leaves, maples, and other trees turn brilliant shades of red and yellow, covering the entire mountain in vibrant colors.

吉野山といえば世界遺産にも登録された桜の名所として有名ですが、秋には桜の葉やモミジ、カエデなどが色づき、山全体が赤や黄色に染まります。

About

Join me for a splendid autumn day in the lush Akame valley on the border or Nara and Mie prefectures.

We will start at the Japan Salamander Center and then begin our hike as we pass by over 48 gorgeous waterfalls and fall colors. We will return via the Mt. Nagasaka trail with views of the gorge. Let’s recover our strength at an onsen in the village before boarding the bus back to the train station.

The 48 waterfalls of Akame are the birthplace of the Ninja and the home of the giant salamander, a fabulous living prehistoric creature. With its limpid waters and its lushy jungle, Akame is the perfect place to discover the real Japan, far from the skyscrapers, in a gentle hike through history and Nature.

The Water falls
The Akame 48 waterfalls are a collective name for a string of waterfalls flowing through Akame-cho, Nabari, Mie. In Japan, more than 1300 years ago, a legendary holy man named En no gyoja was active. It is said the name Akame (red eye) derives from a legend that he met Fudo-myoo (God of Fire) riding a red-eyed ox. They are actually much more than 48 waterfalls, but the number “48” means “Many” in Japanese.

There are various waterfalls in Akame. Among them, five large falls, “Fudo”, “Senju”, “Nunobiki”, “Ninai” and “Biwa” are popular under the name of “The Akame Five Waterfalls”. A recreational path about 4 km long along the waterfalls is used as a hiking path to enjoy walking while listening to the sound of the waterfalls. The path is famous for its different aspects according to the season, from cherry blossoms in spring through tender green in early summer, colored leaves in autumn to frozen falls in winter.

The waterfalls peaceful and pollution-free environment is also a habitat for the giant salamanders (Andrias japonicus), which are protected species and registered as Natural Monument of Japan. You may be able to see them swimming in the river when walking between spring and autumn. For those who don’t have the chance to spot them directly in the river, the entrance fee include a pass to visit a small Natural museum where the giant salamanders are exposed.

日本サンショウウオセンターを出発し、48以上の美しい滝と紅葉を眺めながらハイキングを始めます。渓谷の絶景を堪能できる長坂山登山道を戻ります。村内の温泉で体力を回復し、バスで駅に戻ります。

赤目四十八滝は忍者発祥の地であり、伝説の生物であるオオサンショウウオの生息地でもあります。澄んだ水と緑豊かなジャングルに恵まれた赤目は、高層ビル街から遠く離れた、歴史と自然を巡る穏やかなハイキングで、真の日本を発見するのに最適な場所です。

滝
赤目四十八滝は、三重県名張市赤目町を流れる一連の滝の総称です。1300年以上前の日本では、役行者という伝説の聖人が活躍していました。赤目（あかめ）という地名は、役行者が赤い目の牛に乗った不動明王に出会ったという伝説に由来すると言われています。実際には48の滝よりもはるかに多いのですが、「48」は日本語で「たくさん」という意味です。
赤目には様々な滝がありますが、中でも「不動」「千手」「布引」「尼内」「琵琶」の5つの大きな滝は「赤目五滝」として親しまれています。滝に沿って約4kmの遊歩道が整備されており、滝の音を聞きながら散策を楽しむことができます。春は桜、初夏は新緑、秋は紅葉、冬は氷瀑と、四季折々の表情を見せる遊歩道として知られています。

静かで汚染されていない滝周辺の環境は、国の天然記念物に指定されているオオサンショウウオ（Andrias japonicus）の生息地でもあります。春から秋にかけては、川を散策していると、オオサンショウウオが泳ぐ姿を見られるかもしれません。川で直接見ることができない方は、入場料にオオサンショウウオを展示している小さな自然博物館への入場券が含まれています。
