Open Ballroom Dance to the music of DJ Gary Bills. Ample parking at the front entry of the building, take the elevator or stairs to the upper level. Parking is limited at the rear entrance, both front and back doors will be unlocked. Our dances are open to the public and everyone is invited. Enjoy Ballroom Dancing to dance tunes including Swing (East & West Coast), Waltz, Tango, Rumba, Cha-Cha and Foxtrot. There is also a dance mixer. Cost: $5 per person at door.

Presented by Horizon Heating & Air, Rhythm & Brews Concert Series brings together live music, local craft beverages, and the community! These free shows take place on the third Thursday of every month from June-October, closing part of South Main Street to make room for all the fun. Local food trucks will line the street cooking delicious eats from kettle corn to pizza to barbecue. Each show begins with an opener at 5:00 p.m. followed by the headlining performance from 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Opening acts will kick off each evening at 5 p.m. followed by the headliner performance from 7-9 p.m.

Open Studio Tour 2026
For one weekend, visitors will have the opportunity to meet artists where they create, see works in progress, learn about different creative processes, and discover original artwork and handmade pieces throughout the region. While the tour is rooted in Henderson County, some participating artists have studios just beyond the county line.

The Hendersonville Community Band will play the first concert of our new season on October 18 at 3PM at the Blue Ridge Community College. Theme is Fall Colors. There will be a variety of selections. We will feature Furman University student Jillian Hansard – a clarinet soloist & Hendersonville Community Band scholarship winner on “Clarinet Candy”. Holst’s “Second Suite in F”, Clifton Williams’s “Symphonic Suite”, “Pixar Movie Magic”, John Williams’s “Chillers and Thrillers” (Halloween!), Sousa’s march “The Thunderer” (with guest conductor Mr. James Phillips from Hendersonville High School). Lastly, a trumpet trio on “Carnival Variations” – something for everyone! Advance tickets available at Hendersonville Visitors Center. Tickets are $12 (students free) and also available at door.
