About us
We are a walking group based in Norfolk, run by a lovely team of relaxed, friendly, inclusive volunteers aimed at similar like-minded people.
We tend to have at least one walking event every weekend. Each walking event can be very different in terms of terrain, distance, and walking speed. Please check the details of each event to assess whether it is suitable for you.
Occasionally we also put on more leisurely paced walks, shorter mid-week walks and evening walks, as well as a few much faster paced and challenging walks, and the occasional trips away.
New members are always welcome to come on 3 walks to see what we are like before joining. We hope that you like us and what we do, and if you wish to walk with us after your first 3 free walks, then you need to Join the Ramblers.
When joining the Ramblers, in the second section of the form, under the heading "Your group", choose the "Norfolk Area" then the "Hike Norfolk group". To receive communications from us, you need to provide your email address to Ramblers when you join (and update Ramblers if your email changes).
Please bring your Ramblers membership card or a photo of it to all events as we do periodic checks.
We look forward to seeing you.
All the best from the Hike Norfolk Team.

We will then continue through Newton St. Faith and on to Horsham St. Faith, where we will stop for lunch at St. Mary’s and St. Andrew’s Church. The church’s rood screen and pulpit are particularly noteworthy, with their surviving painted panels offering a fascinating glimpse into the religious art and craftsmanship of the period.
After lunch, we will pass “The Clink”, a Grade II listed 18th-century village lock-up built into the precinct wall of the ancient priory. We will then continue past our delightful post-walk drink stop, better known as The Black Swan.
The final part of the walk takes us back through Newton St. Faith, returning to Horsford via St. Helena Mill, a five-storey red-brick corn mill, before bringing us back to the start.
Please note there are public toilets at the Horsford Village Hall car park, which are adjacent to the children's play area and the Baby Bean Coffee kiosk. There are also toilets and opportunities to refill water bottles at both church stops.
