What we’re about
Hiawatha Bicycling Club (HBC) members love riding with fellow bikers while exploring the Twin Cities. Our safe, friendly, leader-led rides often include a stop for refreshments or a post-ride meal for fun socializing. Our mission is to promote recreational biking - our motto is “Let’s Ride Together!”
During winter months, we continue to gather for walks and bicycling related educational programs. Our educational events feature local speakers with specialized biking knowledge or bikers who have done unique and inspiring rides.
Explore our ride calendar and join us as a guest on any ride. Our rides vary in speed, distance, starting locations and destinations. Ride Calendar - Hiawatha Bicycling Club
All riders must wear a helmet on any HBC ride. Please review the bicycling safety basics on our website Hiawatha Bicycling Club - Safety. Arrive for your ride at least twenty minutes before it departs and check in with the ride leader.
Club insurance allows riders to ride once as a guest and then requires membership to continue riding with us. We welcome new members! Hiawatha Bicycling Club - Select Membership Level
