Happy Ladies of Haywards Heath Meetup Group

Especially arranged for Happy Ladies is an evening of Painting and Sipping (Hopefully more painting than Sipping or else it could get messy!)

Book Early as there is a RSVP Closing Date of Wednesday 3rd June.

Cost £25 per person to cover all Materials. Payable in advance by 3rd June to the usual payee (me)

We are joining together with The Central Sussex Group to take a local walk (usually about 4.5 miles in total) on Wednesday evenings until further notice. As would be expected of the Happy Ladies there will also be a visit to a pub at the end!

The walk takes approximately 2 hours and please note this could be a mixed walking group.

This week's walk details are:-

Meet in the car park at St. Georges Plaing Field, Plumpton Green, BN7 3DP (Car park is just before the railway crossing if driving south) starting at 7.00pm sharp

It is a fairly level walk of 4.5 miles.

Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome and afterwards they will be going to a watering hole (TBD).

• Please be prepared for adverse weather and wear suitable shoes & clothing and remember to pack a drink
• When you join the walk you are automatically agreeing to do so at your own liability.

The good thing about the Happy Ladies Book Club is that collectively we are finding that we are discovering books that we wouldn’t ordinarily read. Sometimes we find hidden gems and sometimes some of us don’t finish a book because it’s not our thing but that’s ok. We just discuss what we liked and what we didn’t and usually we find something about the book that we had missed.

Our member’s selection for July is ‘Guilty by Definition’ by Susie Dent
Synopsis:
Guilty by Definition is a love letter not only to language but to the city of Oxford, wrapped within an intriguing mystery of a missing woman and considering the emotional aftershocks of her disappearance on those left behind.
All attendees will have the opportunity to choose a book so please bring your selection for future months.
