Join us for a scenic and invigorating hike at Angel Island State Park, one of the most beautiful spots in San Francisco Bay! Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or just looking for a fun outdoor experience, this hike offers stunning views, rich history, and a great opportunity to take breath-taking pictures of the Bay.
DEPARTURE: We'll meet at 10am on the pier-side of Hog Island Oyster Co. in the Ferry Building. The ferry leaves at 10:15am, so make sure you're on time! Ferry prices to Angel Island are $9.50 each way (so $19 total). You can pay with your Clipper card/account.
AT THE ISLAND: We'll keep a relatively brisk pace as we walk the perimeter of the island, with the occasional break and a 20-30 minute lunch break. There is a snack shop on Angel Island, but it's strongly recommended you bring in your own drinks and food. The hike is considered moderately challenging, and it's about 6 miles long.
