Join us for a relaxing evening of after-work drinks at Rise Over Run, the stunning rooftop bar known for its fantastic view of the city skyline.

We'll aim to grab outdoor seating so we can take in the view as the sun sets (it may get cold, so dress warm!). Come unwind, catch up, and enjoy a well-earned drink with great company.

Join along for a scenic morning run along the Golden Gate Park JFK Promenade! This run is for casual runners or anyone looking for a fun way to stay active.

We'll meet in front of the de Young Museum entrance (by the de Hamon Tower) and wait for up to 15 minutes for any late arrivals. After we finish the run at the Murphy Windmill, we'll grab some coffee/pastries at the Black Bird Bookstore and Café nearby.

Looking to play some casual, friendly poker games with a laid-back group? We’re putting together a private group chat for folks interested in arranging monthly poker nights — and you’re invited!

This is a beginner-friendly space, perfect for those who enjoy the game but don’t take it too seriously. All skill levels are welcome, as long as you come with a good attitude and a love for cards.

The group chat will be used to coordinate game nights, locations, and who's bringing the chips (or snacks 🍕). No high-stakes pressure here — just fun, laughter, and a little bluffing among friends.

Each game session will be different regarding rules and what-not, but here's some themes we're focusing on:

• We'll normally be playing Texas Hold'em
• There will be a $10-$20 buy-in to play, but please note this is the most money anyone can lose for the entire game session
• House rules, so whoever is hosting (normally me) will take some liberties with the game to ensure everyone feels welcome and can learn/play at their own pace; so no poker sharks or hyper-competitive players
• Please only join the game sessions if you are able to stay the entire duration of the event (normally about 4 hours)
• Location will normally be my place (I live near the Crepevine pin location and will share the exact address to attendees a day or two before any event), but other people are welcome to host

Looking to find other runners for casual, impromptu (or within a week's notice) 5K sessions in Golden Gate Park? We’re putting together a private group chat for people who can comfortably jog 5Ks and want to meet others for friendly, low-pressure group runs.

This isn’t a formal club or training program — just a group of friendly runners who enjoy the park and want to connect for spontaneous runs, either on weekday evenings, weekends, or whenever the mood strikes.

Couple of notes:

• 💬 The group chat is strictly for organizing or joining actual runs
• 🏃‍♀️ You should be able to fully jog the 5K (about three miles total)
• 🌳 Runs will take place in or around Golden Gate Park (so think JFK, Panhandle, maybe Great Highway, etc.)
• 🤝 Open to anyone who wants good company, fresh air, and a solid run!
• ☕ or 🥐 We'll normally aim to grab a quick coffee or snack after the run to decompress and socialize a bit
