- Spring Members' Speakeasy: Mountain View EFF Meetup at Hacker DojoHacker Dojo, Mountain View, CA
Join Electronic Frontier Foundation staff and other digital freedom supporters for our Spring Members' Speakeasy on April 23 at Hacker Dojo in Mountain View!
Silicon Valley and California’s legislature have played a leading role in defining technology policy for the U.S. and around the world—for better and worse. From consumer privacy to content moderation to open access to AI, the choices here have rippled across the experiences of people everywhere. In a heightened climate where political and cultural anxieties focus on Big Tech more than ever, how do we move toward a better future for the rights of tech users and creators?
At this year’s Bay Area Members’ Speakeasy, EFF’s team will give you a behind-the-scenes look at the policy questions and legislative efforts that will shape the next stage of digital rights for all.
This event is a free, casual gathering to give you a chance to mingle with local EFF supporters and meet the activists, lawyers, and technologists behind the world's leading digital civil liberties organization. It is also our chance to thank you, the EFF members who make this work possible.
