What we’re about
The Greater Gainesville Young Professionals is a group created BY young professionals FOR young professionals.
We gather individuals between the ages of 21-40 to experience opportunities to CONNECT(meet other YPs), THRIVE(professional & personal development, STRIVE(philanthropy and civic engagement) and DISCOVER(see all that GNV has to offer).
We offer about 3-4 events per month and we invite anyone to come check out or events.
Once you've checked us out and you'd like to get involved, we can talk membership!
GGYP membership is free for students currently enrolled in UF and/or Santa Fe or currently employed by a chamber member business or organization. Not sure if your employer is a member? Check here.
If you don't fall into either of the above categories, you can join GGYP at the individual rate of $75/year OR $10/month.

Join us for our first STRIVE event of the year! STRIVE events focus on philanthropy and civic engagement.
This month, we will be volunteering with Lubee Bat Conservancy. Lubee a non-profit organization dedicated to saving bats and their habitats through conservation, education, and awareness, with a focus on children and community engagement.

Every year, the Greater Gainesville Young Professionals host a big ole' kickoff party to start the year off right!
Since GGYP was established in 2021, it has gathered thousands of young professionals across the region to CONNECT, STRIVE, THRIVE & DISCOVER. At a growth of outreach rate of 84% every 90 days, we can confidently say that this group is growing every day. We are proud of the space that we have created for our community's young professionals and we look forward to celebrating many more years.
We will be coming together at one of our members' favorite places, Bragging Rights Amusements. Everyone that attends will get unlimited playing on the hundreds of classic and modern arcade games, pinball and carnival games there. We will also have plenty of hors d'oeuvres and as always, everyone's 1st drink is on us.
We would like to thank our Investors, First Federal Bank, GatorCPR, LifeSouth and UF Health for being unwavering supporters of our organization.
