Welcome to Girls Gone Weekend! I decided to create this group to find other women looking to do something new and exciting! This group will be a vibrant community of women over 40 who know how to make the most of the weekend! Whether we’re kayaking at sunrise, exploring local museums, sipping cocktails over dinner, or playing a casual round of putt-putt, the goal is simple: connect, explore, and have fun.

We’ll be a diverse group of ladies who value good company, new experiences, and a healthy dose of spontaneity. Every weekend brings something different – from low-key hangouts to mini adventures – and every outing is a chance to unwind, laugh, and create memories together.

If you’re looking to expand your social circle, try new things, and never have to wonder what to do this weekend… join! We’ll make this a great group!

At Make Expression, you’ll have the freedom to choose your own craft from a wide variety of hands-on experiences, including:

There’s a project for every style and skill level. Prices range from $15 to $100, with most options comfortably between $20 and $40. Simply select your craft when you arrive and pay the studio directly.

Day 1 – Arrival & Dinner

Arrive in Fredericksburg and settle into your accommodations. In the evening, we’ll kick off our getaway with a delicious welcome dinner at The Auslander, a local favorite known for its authentic German cuisine.

Day 2 – Wine Tasting & Downtown Exploration
Hop on the Brook’s Bubble Bus for a scenic wine tasting tour through some of Fredericksburg’s finest wineries. Afterward, return to the hotel to relax or take advantage of some free time to explore the charming downtown area. We’ll reunite in the evening for a delightful dinner together.

Day 3 – Wildflowers, Wine & Nightlife
Spend the morning at Wildseed Farms, a stunning 200-acre wildflower farm and vineyard featuring walking trails, gardens, and plenty of photo-worthy spots. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner before exploring Fredericksburg’s lively nightlife and making memories with your fellow travelers.

Day 4 – Farewell Breakfast & Departure
Wrap up your getaway with a final group breakfast before heading home, refreshed and full of stories from a memorable trip!

Vanilla Profiteroles: Indulge in heavenly profiteroles with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with warm Belgian chocolate sauce.
