About us
This is a general activity group. We will dine out, hike, do casual walks, sing karaoke, do Happy Hours, attend concerts and street fairs, explore cultural activities, attend movies and plays, do occasional road trips and do anything else our members suggest. MANY ACTIVITIES WILL BE LIMITED TO THOSE WHO HAVE RECEIVED COVID-19 VACCINES.

BAYARD CUTTING ARBORETUM HIKE
Bayard Cutting Arboretum, Great River Rd & NY-27A (Montauk Hwy), Great River, NY, USMeet by the gazebo to the left of the main building for a morning hike around beautiful gardens, ponds and along the Connetquot River in Bayard Cutting Arboretum and see what’s in bloom; trails may be muddy.

From Queens, Nassau & Western Suffolk:
Southern State Parkway EAST to exit 45E. Take Montauk Highway East for approximately ¾ mile. Arboretum entrance will be on the right.
From Eastern Suffolk:
Sunrise Highway WEST to exit 46. Take Connetquot Avenue South. Turn left onto Montauk Highway. Arboretum entrance will be on the right.
There is a NYS parking fee - free with the empire pass.

- Dress in layers and make sure you wear the proper footwear for hiking.
Always check your body and clothes for Ticks at the end of any hike!
- Attendance is limited - Don't be a no show as you block someone else from attending. Please update your RSVP if you said you were going to attend and you later change your mind.

Summer Kickoff Party at Tappen Beach (Sunset Club)!

Lets kick the summer off with a beach party! We'll be behind the Sunset Club, on Hempstead Harbor with Long Island Sound in sight. We always get a large crowd at this venue, be sure to join us.
Food and drink are available at the Sunset Club, but there is a long wait for tables and takeout. Here is the Sunset Club menu. You can bring your own or order from local shops. Alcohol is probably not allowed, so be discreet if you have any in your cooler.
Bring a chair, food for yourself and goodies to share.
We'll be on the beach, behind the Sunset Club, near the water. Look for the fish flag (see the picture below).
Free parking after 5.This is a multi group event, usually, 50+ people attend. There are no parking or admission fees. This is one of the group’s most popular events; hope you can make it.
