About us
We are Generation X - Born 1965-1980 (Pew Research), 1961-1981 (Strauss & Howe)
They've tried to define us over the years and shove us into a one-size-fits-all box, but we just won't go. If your high school senior class graduated in the '80s or '90s, and the culture of the '70s, '80s and/or '90s holds a special place in your heart, then you are Generation X and "Gen X Junction" is the crossroads of time where we meet!
Gen X Junction isn't just another Meetup group. It's not a calendar of events. It's a club, specifically a Gen-X club, exclusively for us Gen-Xers, where every event reminds us how good it feels to get out into the physical world to meet people and make friends, like the old days before Millennial culture told us to be content sitting on our couches, watching streaming services and living out our lives in a virtual world on our phones. We are real, in the flesh. We have a great time wherever we go (all along the Front Range and beyond) and we'd love to have you join us!
The membership dues* are currently $25 per year, but we offer a 60-day free trial so you can see the value for yourself (you'll have to show up, though!). Your Gen X Junction membership opens a door to a community you didn't know was here and offers a sense of belonging you didn't know you needed. The long-term vision is that your support and participation will help us open a Gen X Junction "Clubhouse": a "third place" time capsule from the '70s, '80s, and '90s that will feel like home to all of us. We're determined to make it happen in some form or another, but how and what it will look like will depend on the how much Gen-X support there is out there!
Important notes:
1. Please check your messages in Meetup periodically; that's the only way we can reach you.
2. When you're at an event, please be kind, because mean people suck.
3. This is not a dating/singles group -- we are your long-lost brothers and sisters from other mothers and misters.
*To pay your dues via Venmo (especially since Meetup's system isn't working properly at the moment) or to donate to the group, contact David (organizer).

Colorado Pizza Festival
4th and Kimbark, 512 4th Ave #103, Longmont, CO, USAttention Northern and Southern Colorado Gen X-ers: Slice, slice, baby! 🍕
It is time to crush the geographic divide and meet right in the middle for the ultimate culinary showdown. We are joining forces for the inaugural Colorado Pizza Festival! No matter how you slice it, this is going to be a supreme night of food, live music, and excellent company.
Here is the crust of the information you need:### ⏱️ The Timeline (Don't Be Lait!)
- Festival Hours: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- The Meetup Plan: The event starts right at 1:00 PM. Let’s meet up at the entrance of the Central Presbyterian Church a little before 1:00 so we can walk in together as one giant, glorious Gen X crowd. No one gets left behind—that’s just cheesy.
- The Feast Window: For those getting the food perks, the all-you-can-eat samples run from 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
### 🎟️ Pick Your Pizza Passion (Ticket Options)
You’ve got two ways to play this, depending on how much upper-crust luxury you're looking for. Snag your tickets at the official link (Click here for tickets!) before they sell out!
- General Admission ($20): This gets you onto the festival floor to enjoy the incredible live music (headlined by The Motet!), the awesome vibe, and access to all the vendors. Food and drinks are available to buy à la carte.
- The Golden Ticket ($50 + $8.18 in fees): The holy grail. This gets you full festival entry plus all-you-can-eat pizza samples from over 20 legendary Colorado pizzerias between 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
> ⚠️ A Knead-to-Know Warning: If you want that Golden Ticket, buy it right now. A deal this good is a pizza cake to pass up, and they absolutely will sell out fast!
Whether you are a deep-dish traditionalist, a thin-crust fanatic, or just want to grab a local brew and listen to some killer funk music with the best generation to ever do it, you crust be there!
