What we’re about
We are a community of geeks in our 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's and beyond, who share our fandoms with one another while celebrating all the amazing things that women can do. We get together several times a month to craft, game, discuss books, graphic novels, and comic books, play trivia, learn new skills, socialize and discuss pop culture in general.
We also support and nurture Geek Girls Society, a club for girls age 8-18, where we empower young girls to be loud and proud geek girls. Join us!

We have started a new in-person, beginner friendly campaign for women only.
Over the years our other D&D campaigns have evolved into including all genders, which is great, but we realize there is need to create a safe space to play and learn game mechanics with other women.
This campaign will run monthly from 6-9pm and will only be open to those that register ahead of time.
New players will always be welcomed, as long as there is room in the event.
If. you don't know how to make a D&D character prior to attending the event, don't worry our DMs will help you!
We will be playing 5th edition D&D. We do have loaner dice sets available to those that need them.
**Premium event - additional $3 fee for this session
Limited to 8 players per sessionPlease note that this is a women-only event.
We are welcoming and respectful of women, including trans women and those that are nonbinary, gender non-conforming, and any others who identify as a woman in a way that is significant to them. You MUST register on our website to attend this event:
https://geekgirlsforever.com/event-6022793?CalendarViewType=1&SelectedDate=7/20/2025 - Online SciFi/Fantasy Book Club: Blackfish CityLink visible for attendees
This month in our Online Sci-Fi/Fantasy Book Club, we’re diving into Blackfish City by Sam J. Miller and exploring the genre of hopepunk—stories that imagine resistance, community, and a better future, even in dark times. Think floating cities, post-climate-crisis drama, and a mysterious woman who rides into town on an orca.
If you’re into sci-fi with heart, come hang out and chat with us. No pressure to finish the book—we’re here for good conversation and a love of great stories.
After the climate wars, a floating city is constructed in the Arctic Circle, a remarkable feat of mechanical and social engineering, complete with geothermal heating and sustainable energy. The city’s denizens have become accustomed to a roughshod new way of living, however, the city is starting to fray along the edges—crime and corruption have set in, the contradictions of incredible wealth alongside direst poverty are spawning unrest, and a new disease called “the breaks” is ravaging the population.
When a strange new visitor arrives—a woman riding an orca, with a polar bear at her side—the city is entranced. The “orcamancer,” as she’s known, very subtly brings together four people—each living on the periphery—to stage unprecedented acts of resistance. By banding together to save their city before it crumbles under the weight of its own decay, they will learn shocking truths about themselves.
