Flat Rock Sociale is now under new organization, with a focus on keeping the group active, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone.
This is a community built around connection, fresh air, and meaningful experiences, bringing people together through simple, intentional meetups. From scenic walks and outdoor hangs to picnics, road trips, local adventures, and occasional indoor gatherings like movie nights, game nights, comedy outings, and karaoke, the goal is to create space to slow down, reset, and enjoy time together.
Rooted in the idea of good people, great places, and wonderful experiences, this group is about showing up as you are and sharing moments that feel real.
There is no pressure and no expectations, just connection, exploration, and enjoying the present.
Events may also include experiences hosted through our affiliated food truck and event space when it fits the vibe.

Huron River Float Day 🌊☀️
Skip’s Huron River Canoe Livery at Delhi Metropark, 3902 E Delhi Rd, ann arbor, MI, USCome spend a summer Sunday with Flat Rock Social floating the Huron River!
We’ll meet at Delhi Metropark at 10:00 AM so everyone has time to park, find the group, check in, get life jackets, organize coolers and belongings, and be ready for our 11:00 AM tubing trip.
Skip’s will shuttle us upriver to Dexter-Huron Metropark, then we’ll float approximately 2–3 hours downstream back to Delhi Metropark, where our cars will already be waiting. The exact float time can vary with the river current and water level. (Skip's Canoe Livery)
This is a 21+ social event. Come ready to relax, enjoy the water, meet new people, and have an easygoing day outside.

Park at the main Delhi Metropark parking area, then walk the Border-to-Border Trail to Skip’s check-in building. That is where we’ll gather before the shuttle. (Skip's Canoe Livery)

Regular Tube: $28
Optional Cooler Tube: $20
The cooler tube does not include the cooler, so bring your own small cooler if you reserve one. Skip’s says coolers smaller than approximately 28" x 16" will fit. (Skip's Canoe Livery)
A $10 Metroparks vehicle pass is also required unless your vehicle already has an annual Metroparks pass. (Skip's Canoe Livery)### What to Bring
Bring:
- Bathing suit
- Water shoes, secure sandals, or old sneakers
- Sunscreen and/or tanning oil
- Hat and sunglasses
- Plenty of water
- Beverages of choice
- Lunch and snacks
- Small cooler if you reserve a cooler tube
- Waterproof phone pouch
- Dry bag or waterproof bag
- Towel
- Dry change of clothes
- Bug spray
- Book, music, or anything you enjoy while relaxing on the river
Skip’s recommends comfortable footwear and requires some type of foot protection. Glass bottles and Styrofoam coolers are not allowed on the river. (Skip's Canoe Livery)
### After the Float
Once we make it back to Delhi Metropark, anyone who wants to stay can hang out, change clothes, eat, relax by the river, and enjoy a little more time together.
### Important Notes
21+ only. No kids.
This event is not pet-friendly. Pets are not allowed in Skip’s inflatable tubes or rafts. (Skip's Canoe Livery)
