Sturgeon Full Moon Ritual 🌕
August 27th • 7:30 PM • Embodii Crystals
Gather with us beneath the Sturgeon Full Moon for an evening of ritual, rhythm, reflection, and magick.
Traditionally, August’s Full Moon became known as the Sturgeon Moon, named for the time of year when sturgeon were especially abundant in the Great Lakes and surrounding waterways. Its symbolism carries themes of abundance, perseverance, strength, survival, and honoring what has sustained us through the season.
This is a Full Moon for recognizing how far we have come, acknowledging what we have endured, and deciding what we are ready to carry forward and what we are finally ready to release.
🌊 This year, the Moon’s Pisces influence adds an even deeper layer of intuition, emotion, surrender, and spiritual connection. Pisces reminds us that not everything can be controlled or solved. Sometimes our greatest act of strength is trusting our intuition, releasing our grip, and allowing ourselves to flow into whatever comes next.
We’ll gather together for a guided Full Moon meditation and breathwork practice, using the breath to settle into the body, quiet the mind, and connect with the energy of the Moon.
🥁 Then we’ll raise the energy with a community drum circle, using rhythm and vibration to connect, release, and create something powerful together.
We’ll also explore the history, symbolism, and magick of the Sturgeon Full Moon, along with a special ritual or hands-on workshop designed around its themes of abundance, resilience, intuition, gratitude, and release.
No previous experience with meditation, drumming, astrology, or ritual is necessary. Come as you are and experience the Full Moon in community.
🌕 Honor what sustained you. Release what has run its course. Trust what is calling you forward.
