🎮 CO-OP Arcade: Giant Controller Kaiju Battle

The city is under attack… and only teamwork can save it.

Welcome to CO-OP Arcade, a cooperative arcade experience where team work, strategy, and pizza-as-fuel will lead to success against the game.

This is a players-vs-environment showdown where guests take on classic arcade games… with a kaiju-sized twist:
👉 The controls are massive, so you’ll need to find a partner to play. One pilot handles movement, the other handles actions. Think: two humans, one machine, vs. one giant arcade monster.

Because we’re using classic arcade games, the experience is accessible, nostalgic, and chaotic in the best way—perfect for all skill levels.

🏆 How It Works

Teams will fight through multiple rounds to earn points for humanity
After each round, points are added to a shared city defense total
Your fate is tied to the group—win together!
🎁 Rewards for Saving the City

If the group hits certain point milestones, everyone gets rewarded for their bravery 🎉

Most groups will secure basic rewards—but reaching the highest tier will require true heroic coordination.

🍕 Fuel for the Fight

Your ticket includes pizza from Tony Boloney's, because saving the city burns calories.

Expect a cozy, slightly chaotic hangout vibe—equal parts arcade, team-building, and low-budget monster movie energy.

Please check in with the host at the first bar before 8:15 to get your stickers. The stickers will show you are here to meet new gamers and can convey what kind of gaming you are into to help break the ice:

What to Expect
Meet new gamers, talk about games, and find people to game with! Uplift the games and culture we have in common, and celebrate the diversity and vastness of nerd culture.

What it is Not
We are not raging, flirting, or generally going wild. All gamers are welcome, and we are going to model DCGG values so that everyone and anyone should be able to connect and be comfortable in the DCGG space.

Anyone raging, flirting, or generally annoying or embarrassing us will be asked to leave.

We’re celebrating queer joy, chosen family, and the incredible contributions of LGBTQ+ folks across gaming, computer science, art, and play.
Connect with other local gamers in a welcoming, joy-filled space.

We welcome all gal gamers, queer gamers, trans gamers, nonbinary gamers, and allies who game across genres: skillful shooters to cozy farmers, puzzle platformers to brutal metroidvania conquerors.

We’ll have a special focus on the retro games championed by our younger selves. If you rocked out with The Sims, solved crimes with Nancy Drew, designed showstoppers with Barbie Designer, raised a Neopet, or made your whole personality one very specific game — this event is for you!
So let’s party, game, and learn about our peers and gaming history with Social Bingo.
