Summer Fair (Saturday) @ Chinatown
Richland Center Food court, 2002 South Wentworth Ave, Chicago, IL, USREAD THE CHAT, we're first gonna meet-up @ Richland Center Chinatown Food Court for ~30min & then go to the event once it starts at 11:00am.
Hey folks, this is a casual hangout event for those attending the Chinatown Summer Fair! There'll be street food, dragon dances, & a whole lot of people! Whether you’re new to the group or a regular, this is a laid-back way to meet new people with similar interests! The fair runs on Saturday from 11:00am to 10:00pm, & Sunday from 10:00am to 7:00pm.
Schedule:
- 10:30am: Show up at Heungseung Square (Richland Center Chinatown Food Court - basement level) to get some food first. If anyone wants to just head to the fair first then that's A-okay!
- 11:00am~11:10am: Clutter up those in Heungseung Square & head to the neighborhood festival.
- During Festival: We'll try to update the Meetup chat if we find another spot to clutter-up at during a few of the parades.
About the Chinatown Summer Festival:
- The Chinatown Summer Fair is a lively neighborhood tradition. You'll see cultural performances, dragon dances, & lots of food stalls! It gets crowded, so travel light, bring water, & be ready to walk!
- For scheduling, we imagine people will probably want to split up & do different things in the square.See you out there!

Mini Golf & Board Games (Northalsted)
Big Mini Putt Club, 3655 N Halsted Street,, Chicago, IL, USHello old & new friends! We will be playing mini golf and board games at @ Big Mini Putt Club!
This is a casual hangout event to talk with folks about this & that at a bar and mini golf course, socialize over board games or check out the N64 gaming (Mario Kart: Double Dash!!), arcade games, jenga, and shuffleboard among other amenities. Even if you're not a super big anime nerd, feel free to connect w/ folks on any of your hobbies, interests, & experiences!
I will bring light social board games, but games of 9 course mini-golf is walk-in, and able to be done in groups of 5.
About Big Mini Putt Club:
• a premier indoor mini-golf bar and lounge blending 9-hole retro mini-golf with craft cocktails, local beers, and nostalgic vibes.

Full Moon Jam @ Foster Beach (Edgewater)

some folks will be watching full moon jam performances! they are an a unique outdoor performance event happening that features fire performers and drummers. i will bring a blanket but i would recommend a chair or items as permitting. come say hi to some new folks or catch up with some old friends.
The Chicago Full Moon Jam is a non-profit that hosts free-to-the-public, family-friendly fire performer and drummer gatherings, and provides free education on Flow Arts.
The Full Moon Jams are a volunteer-run, not-for-profit, free-to-attend performance gathering that takes place once a month throughout the summer between sunset and 10pm.
The Jam brings together artists and dancers by providing a space for fire performers and drummers to gather and share their creative gifts on the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan.
Set to the percussive beats of local musicians under a full moon, this unique theatrical event is truly a marvel to behold.The FMJ became an official partner of the Chicago Parks District, and are part of the Night Out in the Park series.

Hubbard Inn has graciously offered to host our event, & they're even giving anyone coming to this meetup a free first drink!
1. RSVP prior to the event's start.
2. Upon entering Hubbard Inn, look right! There should be a small hotel-looking table with an employee there.
3. Show your Meetup RSVP status of this event to receive a drink ticket.
4. Come to the left side where the rest of us are (see the Where We'll Be section below) to get a nametag.
5. Display your drink ticket & nametag when getting your first drink at the bar on the 2nd floor.Where We'll Be:
