Welcome to House of Hemlock + QUEER CLT BOOK CLUB!
We’re Gabriel & Fatima, the owners of the pop-up bookstore House of Hemlock. Over the past year, we’ve been popping up around Charlotte and have absolutely loved getting to know the local bookish community. Every event reminded us how special it is to bring readers together, which is what inspired us to keep building more community through our book club and future gatherings.
House of Hemlock has always been about celebrating diverse stories. We’ve focused on curating books across horror, romance, fantasy, LGBTQ+, and BIPOC literature, with the hope of creating a space that feels welcoming, inclusive, and a little magical for everyone who joins us.
