What we’re about
Camarillo connections is a group open to anyone 40 and older living along/near the 101 corridor from Thousand Oaks to Ventura looking to make social connections with others.
I’m hoping this will be a very collaborative group where each person has the opportunity to pick an activity one (or more) months out of the year for the group to participate in. Activities could be as simple as a day at the beach, going to check out the best new happy hour, board game night, sunset stretch, movies/concerts/theater, whatever floats your boat. Let’s get out there and connect!
A current (not more than say 5 years old) face picture is required of all members. You will be given a chance to change it should your profile pic not meet that criteria. It has to be clearly visible (not necessarily fully). We have nothing to hide in this group and it helps us get to know each other.
Some of our events require us to promise the facility (usually restaurants) a set attendance. We know things happen in life, so there is some leeway, but members submitting an RSVP and either changing it (after a final head count has been given to the facility) or not showing up repetitively may be removed / banned from the group. Remember "No Show = No Fun"
My name is Mary Veve Arbuckle and I’m your host and organizer
