About us

We promote good times and community through cycling activities. Meet new people and explore Toronto with an inclusive, have-fun oriented cycling group. Scenic rides, foodie rides, longer adventures and joining events produced by other fabulous Toronto cycling groups - it's all about fun on two wheels!

Please follow our rules:
1.   Be kind. Welcome and encourage other riders. Insults, shaming, and hate will be removed, and offenders will be banned.
2.   Your safety is your responsibility. Helmets are required. Lights are required if riding in darkness. It is each rider’s responsibility to ensure their bike is clean, well-maintained, and fully functional.
3.   All bikes are welcome. Occasional Brompton-only events will be clearly labeled. Contact your local Brompton dealer if you'd like to borrow a Brompton for an event (participation may vary).
4.   If your plans change, please update your RSVP.

We are more than a bike group. We are a family that supports each other. Our values:
-   We are a community - We are united by our passion. We use our collective effort to make the world better, brighter, more colorful and fun.
-   We take pride - We are committed to making a positive impact on the world.
-   We are human - Being ourselves creates magic.
-   We are curious - Inspiration is everywhere. We explore our city and world.
-   We bring energy - Positivity energy spreads our movement. We bring others along on the journey.

By participating in this group, your email and participation data will be shared with Brompton Bicycle. Use of this data is governed by Brompton's Privacy Policy.

Welcome to the fold!

  • Ride the Toronto Loop (again)

    Ride the Toronto Loop (again)

Corktown Common, 155 Bayview Avenue, Toronto, on, CA

After a half century(!) it’s time to close The Toronto Loop.

TORONTO COMMUNITY BIKEWAYS COALITION is producing and leading this epic fall ride. Volunteer marshalls will support the ride.

The Loop trail is an ALMOST complete 75km circuit of trails that includes the waterfront, Humber River, Finch Hydro Corridor, and Don River trails. Unfortunately, there are about ten small gaps that undermine the value of The Loop Trail for everyday/utilitarian, recreational, and tourism cyclists. The Loop Trail is part of the city's Ravine Strategy, although the gaps are all on roads. The Loop was first announced by the city in 2020, but there has been little progress -- until the launch of the TCBC advocacy campaign and ride in November 2025.

You can ride with us for the full 75km, or join us at various locations.

Route will be counter clockwise to our spring Loop Ride! NEW starting location to be determined.

We expect 50+ people to ride with us! TCBC estimates 6.5 hours (I think it'll take longer) with lunch & washroom breaks so bring water, snacks, stamina, and reality if you cannot ride this ride or at a pace to keep up.

CURIOUS before you sign up? Check out Bromptoning's detailed video from the spring LOOP Ride.

CHECK your bicycle's brakes, air, and chain prior to the day.

  • BrompTOberFest 4 (Bromptons Only Please)

    BrompTOberFest 4 (Bromptons Only Please)

Pedaal Coffee + Bikes, 168 Brunswick Ave, Toronto, ON, CA

SAVE THE DATE for the fold-tastic event of the year!

We'll begin at Pedaal with a beverage, meet a new friend, and a 'how fast can you fold/unfold a Brompton' contest with the absolutely wild blind-folded option and perhaps folding while standing on one leg! It's fun and there's fab prizes!

The route will travel through downtown Toronto. The pace will be a slow roll as we stay together creating a Brompton Buzz!

I have curated some ‘top tier’ new parks & an 18km route. Our afternoon together will conclude with a picnic at the new west end of Biidaasige Park for inspired city skyline views!

This is a social, fun, and judgement free ride. Bring good vibes and plenty of smiles.

Here is the route from my Aug 16 pre-ride - adjustments to come when I ride it a second time to fine tune our twists & turns & folds!
