Welcome members new and old to 2026 Wednesday sessions.

We're teaming up with Charlie from BS3 Moth club to combine this foraging and Bristol moths learning session.

We'll find out which wild plants are essential for moths and their caterpillar eggs. Let's learn how we can encourage more insects to lay their eggs and thrive in our parks, gardens, balconies and potted plant pots!

Open to all, as always, whatever your experience of foraging so far, this is a collective space for people who want to meet for walking together, making new friends, sharing thoughts and learning new things.

    What to expect:
6pm - meet at Manor Woods entrance, Vale Lane, BS3 5SA (free parking in surrounding residential roads). We will take a stroll round Manor Woods to see the bursting flowers, leaves on trees and learn about bugs and birdlife. We'll have lots of opportunity to chat, ask questions, share knowledge, recipes and experiences.

    What to bring:
    - everything you'd need for a comfortable time outside like water, a notepad, comfy clothes and sturdy shoes
    - tupperware if you'd like to take home any plants we find

Travel: the meeting point is Manor Woods entrance, Vale Lane, BS3 5SA. The number 24, 75, 76 and A1 Airport Flyer all stop nearby. We'll start and end at the above address.

    Accessibility:
Manor Woods has a mix of grassy and concrete paths, with some steeper sections, not fully suitable for all wheelchair users due to the steep, natural terrain. Let us know if you need any additional needs and we can adjust our route accordingly.

Payment for these sessions goes towards ensuring they can continue at low cost, but if you aren't able to cover this, we have bursary spaces available for you, no questions asked! Let us know (email maria@healingweeds.co.uk) and say you'd like to join!

Refunds: Swaps preferred over refunds - if you can't make it on the day, you're welcome to exchange your space for another date you can attend in future, just get in touch to swap over.
