We are connecting the crypto community in Brighton and Hove! We host regular events ranging from casual discussions to talks from people in the industry. We are a diverse, friendly, and inclusive group of people from all walks of life trying to figure out how blockchain will affect the world, and work out what web3 even is.
The world of crypto is chronically online, and tends to gravitate towards niche communities and tribalism. It lacks real-life human interactions, and the win-win effects of getting people together, locally. That’s where we come in!
At Brighton Blockchain, you will:

Ethereum is turning 10!
On this day, people around the world will be gathering in local meetups to celebrate Ethereum's 10th birthday. We'll bring together people, community members, and everyone who recognises the extraordinary innovation of smart contracts, to celebrate 10 years since the genesis block and all that has come since. Expect music, some fun ethereum-themed activities, and a thoroughly good time 🥳.
We'll also be giving out a POAP as part of the official ethereum 10 year anniversary collection, so you can have on-chain proof that you were there!
We're proud to announce that this event is sponsored by the Ethereum Foundation, which means we will be able to provide food and drinks - pizza, snacks, beer, soft drinks, a birthday cake, party rings (obviously) - and some other goodies!
This event is open to all and free to attend, as always. Please make sure to RSVP so we have accurate numbers for food!
When: Wednesday 30th July
Time: 6:30pm - 8:30pm. Please arrive before 7 because the front gate shuts and then it's hard to get in!
Where: Freedom Works, Black Lion St, Brighton BN1 1JE
The entrance to freedom works is on Black Lion street (about half way down). Take the lift to the third floor.
Cost: Free!
